After consulting with friends and family members about the best place to go for a deluxe massage experience, I decided to spoilย myself at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza Spa. I have visited the hotel several times and already know that it’s absolutely delightfulย by all means.
After a 45 minute drive and being stuck in the torturous 6 pm Cairo traffic, a de-stressingย massage treatment was all I really needed! The moment I set foot intoย the spa, I immediately sensed the relaxing vibe. The soft background music, the aromatic smell, and the impeccableย cleanliness did it all from the start.
I started off byย checking the variety of treatments on offer andย decided to go forย one of their most spectacular massage techniques, the “Aroma Sensoryย 60 minute Massage,” which is basically a full body massage that balances both mind and body to restore the natural equilibrium. I wasย led to the Royal Suite whichย boastsย an amazing panoramic Nile view and is furnishedย with 2 massage beds; this was more than enough as a start.
Iย was given the luxuryย of selecting my oil and scent from among the fourย essential elements: earth, wind, fire and air. This step gave me the chance to pick the right scent based on my mood.ย With the soothingย music and warm lighting in the background, we got started with a foot bath ritual using crystals and sea salt. During the 60 minutes, the masseuse was very careful and made sure that the pressure was relaxing, comforting and bearable. ย I could feel the instant relief in my tired aching muscles.
After the massage, I was ledย to the sauna, steam, and Jacuzzi area whereย Iย lingeredย for a while. Iย then headedย to the relaxation lounge, where I was treated toย herbal tea and a scrumptiousย club sandwich. Iย laid there for an hour on one of the most comfortable chaise-longs, listeningย to soft and warm music. I didn’t really want to leave, but sadly the spa closes at 10 pm, so Iย had no choice.
I can confidently claim that I hadย the most amazing experience at the Four Seasons Nile Plaza Spa; relaxing ambience, great atmosphere and exquisite service. We only suggest that the spa would open around the clockย so we can chillย there indefinitely. Despite being a very pricey experience, it’s certainlyย a worthy investment.
