As the summer and wedding season are both around the corner, we asked professional wedding planners to fill us in on the latest wedding trends that brides are asking for these days. Sara Fahmy & Donia El-Naggar, were nice enough to share some of their events details with us.ย

BARN INSPIRED WEDDING:

Sun flowers are cheerful and bright; we picked the flower and based the whole idea around it, starting by the bouquet which wasnโ€™t typical to those tiny details as having the bride and groomโ€™s sofa made from burlap fabrics! Also adding umbrellas helped a lot preventing sun and added a beautiful touch to the overall mood.
Using wooden tables was the best choice to match up the theme we also added lace runners to make contrast with wooden base and to add a touch of elegance.
It was a simple yet beautiful wedding.ย

LAVISH MINT WEDDING:

People are often afraid of using colours and patterns for fear of it looking garish or dating too quickly but weโ€™re huge advocates of both at our events and think this is what can give a wedding day the right amount of flair. So we came up with this beautiful theme mint and ivory combined with gold.
Adding gold chandeliers, mixed with blush and ivory flowers gave the royal look.
We used mint table cloth in addition to ivory lace runners. Crystals too were an important factor to complete the mood. Another elegant wedding to recall!

BLACK & BLUSH GLAMOUR:

We tried to put together the most lavish and rich creations mixing the brideโ€™s dreams with our vision to create a unique wedding.
The centrepieces were a mix between black chandeliers with candles, flowers and black vases with huge flower arrangements, adding black lace to all candles on each table.

All The event setting was black and that includes chairs used, napkins and even the bar! We used a blush table cloth to have the contrast needed adding a hint of elegancy with the black lace runner.
The variety of design elements flowed perfectly.
The blush warm lighting played an essential role to reflect our vision. We wanted guests to feel that they were surrounded by an abundance of warm and passionate textures.ย

DETAILED VINTAGE STYLING WITH A CONTEMPORARY TWIST!

Different materials were used such as wood, burlap and lace. We mixed it in a perfect way to make this final perfect vintage look.

Using materials from the natural world as well as random centrepieces that contained wooden boxes, bamboo branches, tree trunks, bird cages, bottles and jars with plenty of flowers gave the simplicity and the look needed.
We added lace for the burlap fabrics we used for table cloths and table runners to transform it from a rough vintage look to an elegant one. Not missing the tiny details we had to tie the napkins with burlap and lace too!
We were keen to enrich every corner in the venue with a different vintage item to make our guests feel the mood weโ€™ve created.
Itโ€™s interesting how we can use vintage elements and redesign it with flowers to decorate the whole event.
