Whether a student or a teacher, finals are here and you must have been stuck with the endless work till really late, got home later in the evening exhausted and in a big need to have a nap before continuing.
I’m not freezing, like at all!
It’s one of those nights when we learned to listen to our moms’ advices about bringing a jacket wherever we go “just in case.” It has been freezing out there, and most of us didn’t really put it into consideration. So remind me again how that outdoor party went?!

It either ended up with a crappy movie, a troubled party, or a dumb fight between friends. Wasn’t it the best!
I’m wide awake
New Year’s Eve happened to be on a Thursday, which is the end of the week. So, if you’re among those people who have been sleep deprived the whole week and decided to take a 30-minute nap to refuel your energy, your nap might have taken a little bit longer than expected! You haven’t really missed much (just try to convince yourself of that). Try again next year!
I’m the mom tonight!
We don’t care if it’s New Year’s Eve or not, sometimes we still have s#*! to do! Your mom might have asked you to cook tonight, or to help her by babysitting your little brother and his friends who were invited over. It wasn’t that bad after all, right! Who needs a party! (Here’s a hint, we do!)
Nevertheless, NYE’s spirit follows us wherever we are and whatever we’re doing. I bet everyone was still excited about the fresh start. So, Happy New Year!
