We just love Twitter and Reddit threads, don’t you? We mean, more often than not, we find the most relatable content there. And this one we have today is extra special if you’re naturally awkward. Like literally awkward, everywhere and all the time. It’s about the small things we do that just feel WRONG even though they’re perfectly right!
Using the kitchen when everyone’s asleep
Why does our brain make such a big deal out of this situation? We need to be fed, right?
Asking people for the money they owe you
It’s not just about good manners and looking chill. It’s simply our right, yet it feels so so wrong.
Trying free samples
Is it just us or does the idea of being offered a free sample or even asking for one totally freak you out? People who do that so casually are winning at life!
Coughing in public
You know the simple cough to clear your throat? Why does it sound like you’re screaming “bloody murder” inside your head? It’s. just. a. cough. But no, who wants all that attention?
Asking for a day off at work
When you call in sick for work and you’re actually sick, does it feel like you’re the worst employee in your head too?
Shopping without buying anything
We don’t know guys, we mean you walk into a store, you have to buy something. It’s like an unspoken rule!
Making tea without asking if anyone wants one too
What’s that all about? Like wow, just because I thought a cup of tea would be nice now I have to socialize and make five more or I’m totally messing with the limits of acceptable social decorum?
Refunding any item
You’re totally within you’re right, and it’s literally written in the store policy, yet you feel like an absolute jerk. Oh, and you have to provide a good reason too. You can’t just go like “I just didn’t like it”, call the police!
Walking into a cafƩ or a restaurant to use the bathroom
Whether you do it or not, let’s agree that it’s totally fine and everyone does it. Because hey, we’re only human. Not all of us could hold it for hours till they get home!
Asking to take-away the rest of your meal
How many good meals have you wasted because you were too proud to perform the “takeaway” bet? Such a waste!
