Five months ago, we received heartbreaking news about one of the dearest stars to our hearts, Yasmin Abdel Aziz. Her health condition had severely deteriorated after undergoing a medical procedure that left her in an extremely critical state.
Our hearts shattered as we began to realize these were not just rumors and that her condition had drastically declined further. We were left in a state of devastation and confusion for quite some time, and that’s when everything changed for Yasmin!
Thankfully, the star regained her health a couple of months later but we didn’t exactly know what had happened to her, until yesterday. Yasmin Abdel Aziz decided to tell her full story in a one of its kind episode with Mona El Shazly.

How It All Began
Yasmin began by telling us about how the entire whirlwind of events started out. She was about to undergo a simple procedure that was part of her usual health maintenance process when everything went downhill from there.
Following a medical error that took place during that procedure, Yasmin’s colon exploded resulting in severe blood poisoning and causing her to undergo another emergency procedure and getting rushed to the ICU.
While in the ICU, her health continued to deteriorate further. She was exhausted, drained, weak and hopeless, and that’s when everything took a turn for Abdel Aziz!
Yasmin said, “I had a feeling my life was coming to an end. I was about to give up when a miracle happened. ”
The Turning Point
Right in the midst of the darkness, light broke through Yasmin’s story. The beloved star got her miracle just when she was about to give up!
When news concerning Yasmin’s critical condition started circling the internet, everyone turned to God for an answer! Everyone prayed tirelessly for Yasmin and their prayers eventually got heard. Within one miraculous day, Yasmin’s whole state shifted from a hopeless case to a story that only goes uphill.
That’s when Yasmin started to regain her strength and decided to keep fighting for her life. Her faith is the only thing that pulled her out of that extremely low point. Her belief that God wouldn’t let her down along with the prayers of each and every one of her fans really turned her wheel of fortune around.
The Recovery

Yasmin had gone through so much already, but she kept fighting through all the sleepless nights and the unmeasurable pain in order to recover from all the medical complications.
Abdel Aziz’s story was finally beginning to shift towards its happy ending. After having been unresponsive and in a shock for over a month, she began to regain her health. She traveled to Switzerland to undergo her final procedure and move towards a full recovery.
The star told us about how she kept motivating herself to push through it all by listening to motivational songs, praying, and having faith that this too shall pass. Abdel Aziz’s strong belief, resilience and bravery are what helped her recuperate.
Watching her on Mona El Shazly’s show today left us with so much faith that prayers do change fate. Yasmin’s positivity shined through her interview; she taught us that belief in the power of prayer, faith and optimism really can change everything.
