20 Things No One Tells You About Leaving Egypt!

1- You realize how generous we are. You can smoke our entire pack of cigarettes and we won’t be bothered, where most of the world asks you for a dollar in return of one cigarette!

2- No one does Shisha quiet as good as us!

3- You realize how our food portions are much bigger than anywhere else!

4- You’ll miss how crowded and loud our country is. (No matter how much we complain about it)

5- How Egypt is one of the cheapest countries!

6- You’re going to miss knowing everything about everyone. Curiosity is in our blood!

7- How in winter it’s not too cold, and in summer it’s not deadly hot!

8- You will be irritated every time someone asks you if your parents helped building the pyramid.

9- Or if you go to school by camel…

10- Yes, you might find a better job opportunity abroad, but your office there will never be as fun as it was here!

11- nor as crowded!

12- No one will understand your humour as much as we will!

13- Or relate to your childhood memories

14- It will be really hard to get used to starting your day very early since you are probably used to waking up after noon!

15- You’re not always going to find shatafa which is a HUGE deal for us!

16- You’ll always be on time… It’s not necessary a good thing since we’re used to being late for everything!

17- No matter where you are… Ramadan will never be the same!

18- You will actually be stopped if you exceed your driving speed limit! Can you believe it?!

19- People will not know what “Tarneeb” is… Which will kill you slowly.

20- And you’ll realize that no matter how far you go, Egypt will always be home 🙂
