We all go on our favorite social media platforms to interact with people around us, watch random videos, send memes to each other, or keep up with our favorite content creators. This article is a Valentine’s Day edition featuring our favorite content creator couple, Yasser Ahmed and Aya Ibrahim.
Yasser Ahmed, also known as “Yasserstahp“, has an Instagram following of over 200K followers and a verified TikTok account with over 800K followers. Looks like we’ll be seeing him hit his first million soon!
Aya Ibrahim is a model and a content creator alongside Yasser with an Instagram following of over 140K and over 300K followers on TikTok. She previously modeled for “Okhtein” and starred in the recent #AlwaysEgypt campaign.
We decided to get to know Yasser and Aya a little bit more and find out how their relationship has evolved after booming on social media.
Yasser started creating content on TikTok in April 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. At first, it started as a way to kill time at home until he decided to continue creating content daily. Aya also started creating content around the same time in 2020, also during the lockdown.
Yasser and Aya met in 2018 through a mutual friend at a Redbull concert and they instantly hit it off. They happily stated that making content brought them closer and helped them bond together.
They teach each other editing techniques and brainstorm ideas together for their next TikTok videos and Instagram reels. This helps them to be more honest with each other and provide constructive criticism on their work.
Off-camera, they mostly like to experience new places or play card games, specifically question games that let them learn more about each other. Nothing says relationship goals like a good card game!
They both like working with each other and make a good team. It doesn’t ever seem like one of them is stealing the other’s spotlight. On the other hand, they don’t mind working individually since they both have their own identity. Aya told us, “Any idea that comes to mind, I always envision Yasser with me.” We love a supportive girlfriend!
Yasser and Aya are happy to make their relationship public because they would like to give their young fans, or as Yasser likes to call them “Besties”, a good example of what a healthy relationship looks like.
So don’t forget to take their advice: Don’t settle for less, let them become your best friend, and don’t take the little things too seriously.
