Valentine’s Day is here and it’s time to renew your vows, your love and tinkle those amoureux senses you have hidden inside of you! This year we have something new for you; why don’t you make it a massage for two for a change? There’s nothing better than a gift for your significant other that doubles as a gift for yourself at the same time; we thought a trip to the spa is the ideal way to enjoy the love in your life.
I took my husband and went to try it out before giving you false PR information; we know you see a lot of that these day! We chose to make the best of our day while we were at it. We booked a night at the Nile Ritz-Carlton and got the royal treatment we desperately needed to de-stress from the way too busy hectic schedule we call our lives.
It was really difficult to choose which treatment to pamper ourselves with; the list was full of tantalizing options! There are five different reviving facials that are tailored for your skin type alone, not to mention an army of different massages to choose from, including Swedish, Volcanic Stone, and Aromatherapy.
But we couldn’t say no to the Nile Ritz-Carlton’s signature spa treatment, “The Peloid Treatment Chamber.” The Valentine’s couple special with the complimentary pedicure may have swayed our decision. Now before you think it was just another day at the spa, let me tell you that “The Peloid Treatment Chamber” is the “relationship goals” activity you and your significant other really need, because who can say no to full body exfoliation and massages? It’s a signature spa treatment that even your “man’s man” will thank you for afterwards. To be honest, my husband doesn’t get excited about spending a day at the spa, but even he admitted that he owes me one after this incredible experience. It started with a to-die-for full body exfoliation, followed by a variety of mineral-filled muds for our skin. Then we got to enjoy relaxing in the steam room before being rinsed off. Trust me, no matter how cute your “how we met” story is, your skin will be glowing brighter than the day you first saw each other! The only reason I was able to convince myself to leave the comfort of the steam room was knowing that a full body massage was waiting for me; it was an incredibly blissful experience. We completed the day with an extravagant dinner and an unbeatable view of the Nile and Cairo Tower from our room. We will never opt for the usual stressful Valentine’s Day again!
