Last night, we watched the 2024 MET Gala with a dress code theme of ‘The Garden in Time’ for ‘Sleeping Beauties’. We were amazed by some of the stunning looks that many stars rocked. Some of them truly aced the assignment and left us in awe with their interpretations of this year’s theme. Here’s a recap of all the fashion highlights from last night’s event.
Emma Chamberlain:
The popular influencer/YouTuber and fashion icon came in early at the event and didn’t hold back with this Poison Ivy-esque Jean Paul Gaultier gown that had all our jaws on the floor.
Gigi Hadid:
Gigi made an appearance at the event wearing a Thom Browne gown, and a vintage Bob that left many people screaming her name for attention!
Ariana Grande:
The pop star made an appearance in a Loewe white and pearly gown, embodying her character Glinda, the good witch for her new movie Wicked.
Sydney Sweeney:
Sydney went for a darker route this event and ditched her signature blonde hair for a darker do. She wore a Miu Miu tulle gown that made her look so elegant, we had to do a double take!
Zendaya:
We were left speechless when the iconic actress arrived wearing a Maison Margiela gown! The dress was exquisitely crafted and suited the star perfectly, the makeup was a perfect complement to her look, and the hummingbird sitting on her shoulder was the highlight of the outfit!
Kendall Jenner:
The supermodel wore a vintage Givenchy straight from the mannequin to the MET. The look gave us a fairy warrior princess vibe that suited her perfectly.
Jennifer Lopez:
Jenny from the block arrived at the MET in Schiaparelli Haute Couture giving us a Swan Lake look.
Taylor Russell:
The actress looked stunning in Loewe, wearing an artful wooden dress that resembled an unfinished Greek statue.
