There is a fitness trend going around these days. People have become obsessed with fitness and losing weight; however, they are forgetting the most important factor: flexibility. Flexibility is needed in our daily routine as it increases the range of motion, improves the performance in all physical activities, and highly affects the joints and muscles.
What is The Swan’s Stretch?
The Swan’s Stretch is the first stretching-flexibility workshop taking place at Heliopolis Sporting Club since April 2014. Customized programs are offered to juniors, adults, and athletes who need to deep stretch once or twice a week in order to enhance their performance.
About the Instructor:
Rana Mattar is a professional ballerina, who has been in the ballet field for almost 20 years. Ballet shaped her life and provided her with skills other than dancing, such as flexibility and the art of posture. It taught her endurance, focus, believing in herself, punctuality and inner strength; as well as strengthened her knowledge about stretching and flexibility. Her ballet years inspired her to sharing her knowledge and skills with everyone around her. She is the ballet instructor at Heliopolis Sporting Club and Body Works.
