We spot a good actor or actress when we see one. This Ramadan has been giving us so many good performances, master scenes, mesmerizing cinematography, and more! But we can’t shake off these performances that hooked us from the very first moments of watching them on our screens. So, here are 4 roles that stood out this Ramadan with great actors!

Aly Kassem – El Harsha El Sab3a:
‘El Harsha El Sab3a’ is a great production for all the creators’ amazing selections; from the soundtrack to the crew. The series is way too realistic, and that’s why it resonates with people the most. But Aly Kassem’s performance stood out like never before. His ability to show emotions is too good to be true, but it is! Aly’s acting skills made him excel with his ways of embracing Sherif, giving meaning to his complexity, and embodying feelings and topics that were never directly tackled before, like his desire of having children.

Yosra El Lozy – Gamila:
Do you know that TikTok sound that describes a person as someone who looks cute as a cookie but would kill you? That’s Sherry for you. Yosra El Lozy expands her range by playing Sherry in Gamila, who has nothing but evilness on her mind. She played it too well that she gives off mean girl energy even by looking at her characters on the screen.

Taha Dessouky – El Soffara:
Nothing is as swift as Taha’s transition from being a standup comedian to being both a standup comedian and an actor. His role as Wageeh gave him more space to showcase how talented he is with the several characters he gets to play. He also went above and beyond by embracing each character and fully convincing us that’s who Wageeh is.

Ahmed Eid – 3omla Nadra:
When you talk about range, you have to mention Ahmed Eid. The actor has drawn endless smiles and generated many laughs throughout his entire career, and when it comes to drama, he’s doing it like no other. Ahmed Eid caught everyone’s attention with his role in ‘3omla Nadra’. He proves it’s better to be underrated than overrated, but we’d love to see more of him!
