New year, new me? Sure, but we still have the same excitement about new movies and series! 2024 seems to be making quite an entrance and feeding all entertainment enthusiasts with not one or two but more than 4 productions! Here’s our quick recap of what to expect in January on TV, streaming platforms, and theatres!

Hala Khassa:
In a new but fresh production, we see Taha Dessouky, along with Ghada Adel, Ahmed Tarek, Hagar El Sarrag, Hassan Abo El Rouss, and others, putting together an attention-grabbing project. “Hala Khassa” tells the story of a special needs lawyer who excels at his job. The trailer has made people compare the show to other great series like The Good Doctor, but we think this is an anticipated show either way.

El Hareefa:
Nour El Nabawy, Nour Ehab, Ahmed Ghozzi, Ahmed Hossam Mido, and other young stars are taking us on a football-themed adventure where we get to see how leagues and teams work. The comedy probably lies in Nour coming from a different background with limited to zero knowledge about this matter, but we see some good football skills worth the exploration there.

El Eskandarany:
Directed by Khaled Youssef, we see Ahmed El Awady and Zeina in the light of action, crime, and thug-life themes. El Eskandarany will give people the dose of stunts and action they need to start a new year with.

Ba2ena Etnen:
In a rom-com context, we’ll see Sherif Moneer and Rania Youssef joining forces to present a light show in January. The cast also includes Youssef Othman, Amr Wahba, Nancy Helal, Mimi Gamal, Tamer Farag, and others. The show is 20 episodes long and explores themes of divorce, romance, work dynamics, and family.

W Bena Ma3ad 2:
“W Bena Ma3ad” fans are in for a treat early on in 2024. The second season of the family drama hit is set to screen in a matter of a few weeks, and everyone’s anticipating it! The characters people love will be back with more chapters in their stories, and we don’t know what the second season might have in store for us!

Leh Te3esh-ha lewahdak?:
The posters for this movie dropped on social media with Khaled El Sawy, Sherif Moneer, Salma Abu Deif, and more in a white background with musical instruments and a cute dog. Though the trailer just dropped and not to spoil, there is music and romance involved.

Which production are you most excited about, and what else are you anticipating in January?
