This is the slogan behind their Ramadan campaign. The NBK 2021 ad is nothing but creative. Hands down, one of the funniest ads in Ramadan. They managed to create a copy that’s basically funny, catchy, informative and to the point. By doing so, they outdid themselves after the 2019 successful ad as well.
We mean, aren’t we all Sameh and don’t we all have a friend like Ihab? The nagging friend who is so likely to ask for his money back in the toilet and in an ambulance on our way to a hospital? That’s one real situation!
Another plus, instead of hiring some celebrity or creating some vague jingle, they went for a real Egyptian situation. A situation we’re all bound to go through. That’s what we call a smart ad.
And, in case you’re wondering, the ad is created by Storytellers Advertising Agency. More specifically, it was directed by Hashem El Sokkary and Akram Negm.
