Starting the year strong, Netflix has created a busy schedule for us with the new long-anticipated seasons and productions that we will want to watch so badly! The first to come was season two of Ginny & Georgia. The new season had ten one-hour-long episodes, but it didn’t feel like a heavy binge -it just consumed a lot of tissues, and let us tell you why!

It’s challenging to create another season of a successful series and have it live up to people’s expectations for it or even more. But honestly, the creators behind Ginny & Georgia did just that; they even exceeded our expectations. We don’t think it’s a must-watch, but if you’re looking for something fun and entertaining to watch, then Ginny & Georgia should be your go-to! The second season is way better than the first one. We cried all the way through for the mother-daughter relationship issues it showed. Their performances improved and added to the show!

In season 2, it felt good to have more insight into who our main characters are, the flashbacks and revelations about Georgia, young Ginny, and their past were crucial factors in the season. We also noticed how the events unraveled to make Ginny way less annoying than in the first season. We’re let into more of Ginny’s personality and issues to the extent that we sympathize and understand her relationship with Marcus.

But nothing is perfect, so, we admit they didn’t get some parts right. Some details about the dialogues came out forced to sound woke and trendy to be in with Gen-Z’s specific terminologies. We also noticed how Georgia took some dumb decisions and made stupid mistakes which don’t sound like Georgia at all, but yeah, that was probably where she messed up. But no matter what happens, we’ll always root for Georgia.

The way season 2 ended with a major cliffhanger made us hope for its new-season renewal right now! Let’s manifest season 3 of Ginny & Georgia in the comments! Or isn’t that what you want? Tell us what you think in the comments!
