We promised you a two-part list of the upcoming Ramadan 2022 series, and so we keep our word. We couldn’t spill all the tea we got you in one comprehensive list, so here you go with Part 2!

1- Be Tolooa’ Al Rooh – بطلوع الروح

This might be the first Ramadan series that isn’t even out yet but has already safely landed into the meme-land. Be ‘Tolooa’ Al Rooh‘ marks Elham Shaheen’s return to the Ramadan Marathon. Menna Shalaby, Ahmed Salah El Saadany, Mohamed Hatem and more are to join the cast of the series.

Though it was accused of distorting the image of Islam, Elham Shaheen defended the show before its release, saying they’re actually calling out figures of terrorism which has nothing to do with Islam in the first place. We love a good debate, so we’ll be waiting for it eagerly.

2- Suits بالعربي

Here comes the show that almost everyone is anticipating. There are those who are desperately waiting for it so they can judge it right from the first episode, whom by the way, must have already judged the promo. And those who are waiting so they can witness how we Egyptian-ized a very popular American show.

Either way, we can’t wait to see how Asser Yassin and Ahmed Dawood will bring us the spirits of Harvey Specter and Mike Ross. Also starring in the legal drama are Reem Mustafa, Mohamed Shahin, Saba Mubarak, Tara Emad, Moustafa Darwish, Asmaa Galal and others. Separate promos for each character have been released, so let’s take a look at Asser, Dawood and Saba’s teasers.

3- Al Maddah 2 – المداح ج 2

Though not a lot of people were enthusiastic about the release of its first part, upon its screening, many tuned in and praised the show and the performances of the cast. And now we have a second part of ‘Al Maddah‘ and are wondering if the wave will still be rolling this Ramadan. The cast includes Hamada Helal, Heba Magdy, Kamal Abu Rayyah, Sahar Al Sayegh, Ahmed Abdelaziz and many more.

4- Maktub Alya – مكتوب عليا

This year, we’ll see Akram Hosny in yet another comedy series after missing last year’s Ramadan marathon, but this time, on his own in the male leading role. Starring alongside him are Amr Abdul Gelil, Ayten Amer, Hanady Mehanna, Hanan Suliman, among others. We’re anticipating some good laughs from this series, fingers crossed.

5- Jazeerat Ghamam – جزيرة غمام

After many years, we get to see Mai Ezz El Din and Tarek Lotfy on screen together this Ramadan. The show features an amazingly talented cast including Fathy Abdel Wahab, Ahmed Amin, Wafaa Amer, Ryad El Kholy, Mahmoud Al Bezzawy, Heba Abdelghany and Eslam Hafez. Directed by Hussien El Menbawy, the show is set to tell the story of the conflicts that determine the fate of Beit Shafea’s family on the island. The trailer looks very promising; we’ll definitely be watching this one!

6- Aalam Tany – عالم تاني

Aalam Tany‘ tells the story of a pianist who goes through an accident that will turn her life upside down with a twist of spiritual transparency, and only then she’ll get to know the reality of people around her. Directed by Abdul Aziz Hashad, ‘Aalam Tany‘ stars Rania Yousef, Nedal Al Shafeay, Feryal Youssef, Firas Saayed, and other cast members that are yet to be announced. We don’t have an official poster yet, but Rania Youssef shared the initial one on her Instagram account; here it is:

7- Pablo – بابلو

Hassan El Radad, Arwa Goda, Naglaa Badr, Mostafa Fahmy and more are to star in ‘Pablo’. From what we know so far, it’s a familiar plot line, but we won’t judge before we see it, to be fair. Pablo tells the story of a man whose parents died when he was still a child, and so he lived in harsh conditions but still managed to face the challenges that life has given him. Making a name for himself, everyone became familiar with him because of his help to the needy.

8- Rania We Sakina – رانيا وسكينة

In a sociological dramedy, we’ll get to see a new duo of Ruby and Mai Omar on screen together. It revolves around a wealthy businessman who passes away and leaves everything he owns in his only daughter’s name. After his death, his daughter faces many challenges and meets new people who influence every aspect of her life. The series is directed by Shereen Adel, and stars Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Bayoumi Fouad, Omar El Shenawy, Ahmed Karara, Soliman Eid and Ahmed Karara.

9- Al A’edoon – العائدون

Under the direction of Ahmed Nader Galal, we see a sequel of ‘Hagma Mortada‘ with a diverse and brilliant cast. Amir Karara, Amina Khalil, Mohamed Farrag, Mahmoud Abdel Moghny, Mohamed Mamdouh and other stars are to present a new file of the Egyptian Intelligence files. The posters look very neat and promising, we’ll keep an eye out for this one.

10- Shoghl A’aly – شغل عالي

We never thought the day we see Fifi Abdo and Shereen Reda star in one TV show would come, but here we are. The series will allegedly have a lot of celebrity cameos in it, and the rumored storyline revolves around close friends Fifi and Shereen who belong to different social backgrounds and face lots of problems with men. We have a feeling this series will be talked about a lot!

11- Meen Qal?! – !مين قال؟

Meen Qal?!’ has a very interesting cast, an almost all-youth one. The series discusses the crises and problems of young people over the age of 18, so that makes sense. Starring Gamal Soliman, Gamal Abdel Nasser, Diana Hesham, Ahmed Dash, Hana Daoud, Amira Adeeb and other young bright faces, we hope to see some representation in this series.

The list just keeps getting longer! With so many Ramadan series this marathon, which ones are you going to watch? And which ones do you actually think have potential?
