The 70th annual Emmy Awards ceremony was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA, yesterday 17 September 2018 in the presence of many of our favorite celebrities including Emilia Clarke, Sara Paulson, Justin Timberlake, Scarlett Johansson, and many more!
As customary, we can’t let this event pass by without picking our favorite dresses, and well, the not so favorite ones as well! However, we have to say that almost all of the beautiful women in attendance looked like they just got out of a Disney movie, for real!
So here we are bringing you the best and worst dressed celebrities in the 2018 Emmy Awards:
The Best:
1# Joey King
The 19 year old actress from Netflix’s ‘Kissing Booth’ just literally stole the show from all the big names. Her stunning raspberry Zac Posen made her look like a Disney princess on the red carpet!
2# Scarlett Johansson
How absolutely beautiful did the one and only Scarlett Johansson look in her astonishing white off the shoulder Balmain gown? She definitely had to make it to the top 5, cause HELLO? That’s Scarlett Johansson we’re talking about!
3# Jessica Beil
As always, Justin Timberlake’s wifey and the beautiful ‘Accidental Love’ star Jessica Biel stunned everyone in her angelic white strapless Ralph & Russo gown. She could have passed off as a princess as well!
4# Issa Rae
Okay, that’s exactly how you rock a Vera Wang jumpsuit!
The beautiful actress, best known for her hit TV series ‘Awkward Black Girl’, looked amazing in her dreamy baby blue 3000 crystals embroidered gown!
5# Penolope Cruz
SO.MUCH.WHITE. Is that Cinderella? No, but honestly, no one nailed the color like Penelope did. Her feathered, icy blue Chanel Haute Couture gown allegedly took 300 hours to make! Well, was definitely worth it!
The Worst:
1# Tracee Eliss Ross
We can’t help but hear “I’m a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world” playing at the back of our heads! The famous comedian’s Valentino gown did not just look uncomfortable to wear, it also came in a screaming color that was not the most pleasing thing for the eye!
2# Tiffany Haddish
Um, it was not the best wardrobe choice day for the ‘School Dance’ comedian, was it? The rainbow colored Prabal Gurung looked really out of place. Agree?
3# Millie Bobby Brown
We don’t think the one and only Eleven was at her best that night. Although the 14 year old ‘Stranger Things’ star’s baby pink Calvin Klein gown gave us the same Disney princess vibes everyone has been giving us so far, but the dress did not suit the Emmys whatsoever!
4# Tina Fey
Tina Fey, what are you doing woman? The ‘Baby Mama’ actress’ floral Ellie Saab velvet dress was such an unlucky choice for her at the event, especially with that leather black belt on! Don’t you agree?
5# Sandra Oh
It’s true that we miss Dr. Christina Yang like never before, and are so excited the beautiful actress is making a TV comeback in her new upcoming thriller ‘killing Eve’; however, we hoped to see her in a better gown at the Emmys, cause this velvet Ralph and Russo red dress really didn’t cut it, don’t you think?

1# Emilia Clarke
Sorry, but we really think the mother of dragons sort of disappointed this time. However, we don’t think that the black Sheer Dior dress was all that bad, which is why we were indecisive about this one!
2# Sarah Paulson
Okay, let us explain. The ‘American Horror Story’ star’s black Oscar De La Renta gown was not all bad either; the thing is that the feathery ends really looked off, see for yourself!
3# Zuri Hall
The TV personality really gave us mixed feelings with this one. As much as the Sarkis Couture dress also looked like it was straight out of a Disney movie, it still had this weird vibe about it that is hard to completely swallow!
4# Mandy Moore
The sensational ‘This Is Us’ actress made an appearance in her Custom Rodarte dress and to be frank, it really looked good on her; however, the gown itself was not the best choice for the star, was it?
