When it comes to traveling, a lot people at this age, 40s, would never show their desire to seek out new places, exploring new cities or even think about hidden gems. They have totally different perspective for traveling. Below 10 conspicuous types you will find in our society. I honestly don’t know why they consider themselves travelers.
The shopper:
When your uncle or aunt says:“Turkey was awesome”, just know that this means the shopping they managed to do there for the next year was a bit of smart shopping.
Well, I know people who travel weekly to Citystars.
The Chronic Nap-Takers:
They would prefer to take a nap in a hotel bed than in their beds back home. They travel to REST. That’s it!
The ones who think there is NO need for a map:
They think that asking people for the way is more efficient; “law sama7t, howa Champs Élysées menen?” hopefully they will get the normal response “Howa 2allk fin” so they can learn how to use a map.. or Google next time.
The ones who miss the flight every time:
They probably lost track of time while shopping or checking their over-weight luggage as is their usual!
The ones who always feel tired:
They easily get tired and probably won’t go with you anywhere after mid-day.
The “Enta Masriiiiiiiii? :O” screamers:
Some Egyptians leave Egypt for few days or weeks, and you find them abroad looking for other Egyptians within minutes of landing in a foreign country. Diversity and interactions with member of other cultures just isn’t their thing!
The ones who visit ALL the “museums and churches”:
They may find that interesting, but setting the target to visit all these places is just unattainable.
The BUFFET-LOVERS!
This is a part of the trip!! They wake up early, like really early for the buffet because food is their calling in life.
The ones who bring Egyptian food:
They will pack cans of “fool.” Thank God, it’s nearly impossible to pack “7allet ma7shi” and get away with it.
The ones who think the travel agency is their “mama”:
They think that the travel agency should do every single thing for them in the day and age where we can do most things for ourselves thanks to the internet.
