SPRING/SUMMER 2015 PRADA EYEWEAR COLLECTION – WOMEN
The new Spring/Summer 2015 Prada eyewear collection for women reveals an eclectic
interplay of styles, where a contemporary design meets experimentation with new materials.
Classic elegance and vintage inspirations blend with large, structured silhouettes. The
new materials are a symbol of skilful craftsmanship and with the use of wood and leather
signify a return to nature. Bold topstitching features in the collection for the first time.
Subtle nods to the 1970s and conceptual structures define the new Prada Raw glasses,
made from two precious types of wood: black walnut and Malabar ebony.
The iconic Minimal-Baroque model is now enhanced with the experimental use of wood,
reflecting the leitmotiv of the Prada Spring/Summer 2015 women fashion show and
completing the Prada Raw collection.
The natural irregularity of the wood’s veining turns each pair of glasses into a unique
creation, the utmost expression of masterly craftsmanship.
Lastly, the Spring/Summer 2015 collection includes a new chapter in the Prada Journal
optical frames collection. The new Prada Journal models feature retro-inspired frames,
enriched by the three-dimensional temples’ sophisticated design.

SPRING/SUMMER 2015 PRADA EYEWEAR COLLECTION – MEN
The glasses of the new Spring/Summer 2015 Prada Eyewear collection continue
down the path of innovation and design experimentation, with the frames thick
volumes giving way to tapered profiles – and marking a stylistic change from previous
collections.
An inspired blend of 1970s notes and modern symmetries define the models of the
Prada Type special project: the frames’ rigorous geometries are enhanced by the
irregular-cut edges of the front, conveying pure creativity.
The Prada Journal optical frames collection continues down the road of stylistic
evolution. The new frames flaunt vintage-inspired refined structures, an exquisite ode
to masterly craftsmanship and the use of premium materials.
