I know how irritating it can be to walk into a beauty store and not know what to buy or where to start. Before you get enraged with the salespeople trying to sell you the most expensive (or just any) product, find out what to purchase and why beforehand.
Our first helpful makeup tips #101 is concerning the eyes. People say that the eyes are the “window to the soul”. Having said that, one can tell pretty much everything or anything just by gazing into them. To avoid further confusion, we focused on the main products such as under eye creams, concealers, highlighters, eye shadows, eye-liners and mascara.
UNDER-EYE CIRCLES
If you have dark eye circles, buy products to treat them. Go for under-eye circle concealer and apply it from right to left. If you apply it from left to right, you my develop wrinkles. If you’re using liquid concealer, you can pat it on.
For treatment, Soraya Shawky, makeup artist and beauty consultant, 
prefers to start off with Dior’s Instant Rescue eye treatment.
A moisturizer, such as MAC moisturizer, luckily available here in Bloom Egypt, should be applied next. Lastly, highlight your dark eyes
with YSL Touche Eclat.
EYE-SHADOW
Now, if you want to give an edgy look, whether it’s smokey or a shimmer, you need to know the right order of eye makeup.
You first, apply your eye-shadow starting with a base colour on the eyes till the brow bone with the lightest colour, then apply a medium colour on your eyelid then a highlighter which is the darkest eye shadow colour.
* Apply eye-shadow according to your skin-tone.
* Get to know your eye type because each eye has a different area for the highlighting, mid toning and contour shading.
* If you chose the same eye shadow as the colour of your eye, your eyes will pop.
EYE-LINER 
You can stop there but if you are looking for a vibrant look, apply an eyeliner on top.
For a softer look, you should use a pencil eyeliner, then smudge the line with your finger so it looks more natural than the straight line.
* If you want your eyes to look bigger, then you should use a white eye pencil in the inner rims of your eyes. It works like a charm.
Lashes & MASCARA
I think it’s essential to apply mascara. Just a tad of it makes a difference brightening the eyes even if you haven’t slept well the night before.
* To get better curling of your lashes, blow dry the curler. ( Touch it before hand to make sure that it’s not too hot!!)
Lastly, DO NOT match your eye makeup colour with your dress colour. It’s a BIG NO NO #1 to apply pink eye shadow to match your pink top.
