When you do something successfully and it becomes a huge hit, you usually walk straight into a dilemma. It’s either you get scared of repeating yourself or trying new things that might flop. It’s a hard decision whether to take risks or pick the safe side -especially when it’s more sensible to choose the guaranteed. We think these Ramadan stars have thought the same too. They took their popular roles and decided to do them again with a remix, so it feels like they’re doing their successful work in different fonts with similar vibes. Here are 4 Ramadan stars who said “different season, same character.”
Yasmine Abdel Aziz and Ahmed El Awady:
The on-screen duo and real-life couple were the talks of the town with Eli Malosh Kebeer. So, Darb Nar comes as no surprise especially since they didn’t participate in the Ramadan Marathon last year. We’d love to see more of them in totally different characters with no shameful pasts, secrets, or criminal history.
Mohamed Ramadan:
Though last year’s El Meshwar was a little different than his usual storylines, there are still some similarities between all his characters. It feels like they’re all connected. Gaafar has a passed away father, a mother who loves him to pieces, and feuds with other people in his neighborhood who are probably his rivals, as well. This sounds like El Ostoora Volume 2.
Amr Saad:
Amr Saad is an actor with a skillful range; we’d love to see all of it. The last characters he played are very similar, and have many things in common, like being out on the run, left behind or running away, and finally a victim of evil and society’s bad deeds who seeks justice.
Mostafa Shaaban:
It feels like Melouk El Gad3ana, but separately. Mostafa Shaaban has had many Ramadan hits in the 2010s. And though he diversified over the years, we still think Mostafa Shaaban has more skills than he lets us in on through the characters he plays.
