Parents are God’s gifts; having them in our lives is a blessing that we can’t thank the Lord enough for. Parents are always there for us for better and for worse, having our backs and supporting us no matter what. But sometimes, parents tend to do annoying things that irritate the crap out of us. Below are a few examples:
1- Leaving the Door Open

Parents tend to barge into our rooms for whatever reason, see us occupied with something important and leave. But when they do, they never close the door. Why? Parents please, we want some privacy. Speaking of privacy, let’s head down to number 2.

2- Not Appreciating Personal Space

Parents and personal space don’t add up. Every once in a while, you want to be left alone with your own thoughts. Parents don’t seem to understand the term “personal space”; it’s so annoying in ways parents can’t even begin to imagine. GIVE US SOME ALONE TIME.

3- “Because I Said So” Plea

Parents be like: (Mom, Can we go out? No. Why? Because I said so). We have no idea why parents use the (Because I said so) as an excuse for not going out or doing anything actually. This is the most unconvincing excuse ever used by parents. Just give us a reason why you’re refusing our request. The (Because I said so) doesn’t make any sense; stop it please.

4- Waking Us Up Very Early (Waking us with a heart attack).

Examples of classic moves by parents:

– Mom, Dad, could you please wake me up at 7:30 am?

– Parents: Sure. “5 am on the clock”.

Parents: WAKE UPPPP; IT’S 7:45. YOU ARE LATE.

Parents tell us, why are you giving us a heart attack ? This is so annoying and wrong in so many ways. You made us panic for no reason. If you want to wake us up early, wake us up 10 minutes prior to the time we requested.

5- Parents Mocking Our Taste

Just because we have different tastes, it doesn’t make the things we love terrible. So parents, even though you dislike the things your offspring enjoys and loves, you should still support them and let them be.

Parents really need to stop doing things that annoy us. We know that they’re thinking of our greater good, but we still need some space. Can you stop doing these things parents? Pleaaaase say yes.
